Outdoor Rock Climbing and Abseiling for Two

Number of People

This experience voucher is for a private outdoor rock climbing and abseiling session for two people.

The maximum number of people for this experience is 3 people. An additional guest may join your private session at an additional cost of $500.

 

Availability and Duration

This experience will last up to 9 hours.

Bookings can be made for any day, between 9:00 am – 6:00pm and must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Subject to availability.

 

You may rechedule your experience to an alternative date if you are unable to attend your original booking.

Participants can only amend their experience date once. No further changes will be allowed once the proposed alternative date has been confirmed.

Meet at Festival Walk taxi station.

Approach: 10 mins taxi ride and 15 mins hike

 

- Choi Hung

   Difficulty: Easy to Technical

   Resting Areas: Covered

   Best Season: Year Round

 

Meet at Choi Hung MTR station

Approach: 10 mins taxi and 15 mins hike

 

- Chai Wan (Cape Collinson)

   Difficulty: Easy to Technical

   Resting Areas: Covered and Exposed

   Best Season: Year Round

 

Meet at Chai Wan MTR station taxi station

Approach: 10 mins taxi and 10 mins hike

 

- Shek O

   Difficulty: Easy

   Resting Areas: Exposed

   Best Season: Year Round

 

Meet at Shek O bus station

Approach: 15 mins hike

 

- Tung Lung Chau

   Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

   Resting Areas: Covered and Exposed

   Best Season: Perfect in Summer; Windy and chilly in Winter

 

Meet at Sam Ka Tsuen Public Pier, Yau Tong or Sai Wan Ho MTR Station

Approach: 45 mins ferry and 15 mins hike

(Please note: The ferry to Tung Lung Chau operates on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. An additional cost of $100 per person is required for a round-trip ferry ticket. Bookings on all other days will require hiring a sampan at an additional cost of $600.)

 

Weather

As this event takes place outdoors, bad weather conditions may make this activity unsafe, in which case, you will be contacted at least 2 hours prior, and the experience will be recheduled to an alternative date which is mutally agreed with you and your instructor.

In the event that you experience bad weather conditions during your outdoor activities, the final decision shall lie with the instructor of whether to continue or reschedule the experience for an alternative date.

 

What to Wear

You are advised to wear proper attire for this experience such as sportswear with pants that cover the knees and sport shoes for hiking.

Thin soled shoes will be adequate for easy routes. If you require climbing shoes, these can be provided on request.

 

Participants

    -  Participants for this experience must be 6 years+

    -  Prior climbing experience is not necessary for this activity.

    -  All climbing equipment required for this activity will be provided.

    -  You will recieve a private session with a professional climbing instructor, who is registered with the China-Hong Kong Mountaineering and Climbing Union.

    -  All transportation costs from the meeting place is included (except for Tung Lung Island)

    -  We adivse that participants are well prepared with their own food and beverages for the day as there will be limited access to public facilities
       and shops at the climbing site.
