SUP Camping Tour For Four

Stand up paddling, also known as SUP, exploded onto the water sports scene just a few years ago. Invented in the ‘60s by surf photographers in Hawaii, who wanted to capture shots closer to the waves, its sudden popularity amongst the masses, young and old, has made it a sport in its own right. Now, people paddle anywhere there is water, from calm lakes to vicious rapids. SUP is as gentle or as extreme as you make it, but everyone starts the same way – and that’s learning how to stand up on that board!

In this 2-day experience, you will enjoy a wonderful SUP and camping tour in Sai Kung Peninsula. Your professional coach will lead you on a journey to the beautiful area of Sai Kung and the Geopark. You will be provided with a SUP and you will learn all the basic skills for handling a SUP. After mastering the basic skills, you will travel by boat from the pier to another spot near the Geopark to store your belongings. You will then be able to start the SUP tour and cruise around the Sai Kung waters, including the famous Geopark, to explore the heavenly beauty of Sai Kung. Feel free to take photos around the areas!

After the SUP tour, you will end at the campsite where you will spend the night . All your camping equipment will be provided so you just need to bring your own personal items. Food will also be provided for you to enjoy a mouthwatering BBQ dinner on the beach. If you are lucky enough to camp on a clear night, you can even share a starry night sky away from the light pollution of the city with your loved ones!

The next morning after the stunning sunrise and breakfast, your coach will pick you up and take you back to Sai Kung Pier to conclude this exciting SUP camping trip!

Number of People

This experience voucher is valid for 4 people in a group booking.

Additional guests may join at an additional cost of $950 per person, up to a maximum of 16 people.

Please note this experience requires a minimum of 8 participants to go ahead. If there are insufficient numbers on your chosen date, the experience will be rescheduled. Each group will consist of a maximum of 16 people.

What to wear

You are suggested to wear water shoes, a swimsuit and bring sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat. It is recommended that participants are dressed upon arrival, so the experience may begin promptly.

Suitability

All the participants must be aged 8 or above.

Participants must be able to swim at least 50 meters.

Extra Information
This experience includes:

Half-day eco-tour at Sai Kung areas with all the equipment and guidance of professional coach provided
Overnight stay at the campsite with BBQ dinner and breakfast included
The centre has basic facilities, such as lockers and changing rooms. Public toilets and shower facilities are available at the sports ground, less than a 5 minute walk away. Remember to bring a small lock for the lockers.

Q: Will the coach stay overnight at the campsite with me?
A: The coach will leave the site at 5pm and pick you up at 9am in the next morning.

Q: What do I have to bring to prepare my stay at the campsite?
A: You are suggested to bring water, water shoes/sports shoes, sunglasses (with a floating belt), a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and other personal items. You may need dry clothes for changing after the SUP tour. You are also recommended to bring your own sleeping bag for the experience due to hygiene issues. Food will be provided.

Q: What can I do if I have special dietary requirements?
A: If there is any dietary preference, please state it in the booking form in advance.

 

Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance by calling +852 2882 4881 (Monday to Sunday, 10:00 - 19:00) with your voucher code and are subject to availability.
2. Once an Experience booking has been confirmed, no cancellations are permitted. Participants may reschedule their experience where notice has been given at least 1 week prior to experience date and time. Otherwise, the value of the Experience Voucher will be forfeited.
3. If bad weather affects a booking it will be rescheduled by the Experience Partner at no cost to Customers. The rescheduled Experience date must on or before the expiration date of the Voucher, otherwise the value of the Voucher will be forfeited.
4. The Participant must submit a valid Spoilt Experience Voucher to the Experience Partners on or before the experience date as payment for this experience.
5. All Spoilt Experience Vouchers must be booked and used on or before the expiration date.
6. Unless otherwise stated, once a booking has been confirmed by the Experience Partner, a Participant's Experience Voucher will be considered used. Vouchers will no longer be exchangeable for other Spoilt Experiences. Vouchers are nonrefundable.
